Some 2700 nautical miles further on.<\/h4>\n

This morning, the Mauritius left Dakar for Cape Verde to begin its next transatlantic voyage. Aboard the yacht: Anouchka, Adam, Edouard and Paolo joined Mathieu as part of the “Jeunes en Mer” socio-educational program. It’s the start of an unforgettable sailing experience for the five young people.<\/p>\n

The start looks promising. Driven by the trade winds, the crew set off with all sails hoisted. Ideal conditions for practicing the first maneuvers before diving into the deep end. Beneath the surface, a colony of dolphins takes advantage of the opportunity to indulge in a few jumps and other antics before the amazed eyes of the young sailors.<\/p>\n

As the saying goes: “Godspeed” to the whole team, and see you on the other side of the Atlantic in a month’s time!<\/p>\n
