We’ve come full circle (well, almost…)<\/h4>\n

Last sail and end of stay for our three young people aboard the Mauritius. The sailing boat leaves Halifax for the island of Newfoundland. “The place where the fog is born”. The chapter in Farley Mowat’s book* is aptly named. The crew is sailing in a fog so thick you could cut it with a knife. A short break in Trembley Bay was in order before setting sail for the small island town of St. John’s.<\/p>\n

Arrival at the quayside marks the end of the stay for Alexia, Soan and Angelo. After two months at sea, the whole crew took the opportunity to walk along the rugged coastline. The youngsters took off a few days later for Geneva, and we’d like to congratulate them on their exemplary commitment on board!
\nOnce the equipment for the Arctic expedition had been transferred to the sailing boat Que Sera, Mauritius prepared for its transatlantic return. On the morning of 26 June, it was in glorious sunshine (a rare occurrence to be mentioned) that the sailboat set sail for the Azores archipelago. The crossing got off to a gentle start, with a light headwind.<\/p>\n
