An iconic figure at Pacifique, Yffig came to support Pietro and Thibaut for the last crew change planned for this wintering period. An arrival in difficult conditions due to the particularly low temperatures in this season.<\/p>\n<p>And with an unusual situation, an exceptional event!<br \/>\nThe greelandic bay is almost entirely covered by ice, a rare event that has not occurred for 15 years.<\/p>\n<p>On board the Mauritius, the scientific devices of the &#8220;Arctic Change&#8221; program have recorded a significant increase in CH4 (methane) values in parallel with the temperature drops.
