In the middle of the icebergs, the artist Katharina Kreil joined the Mauritius in August, with a printing press in her luggage.
And it’s a nice sequence of life on board that follows. The crew was able to learn engraving under the guidance of the Geneva-based artist. A big congratulations to Ely Xir, young on board, for his magnificent realization! All the artists’ works can be seen in “Sillages” – the Makaline association’s annual poetic and drawing publication.
