2020 – 2024

The Arctic expedition

Since June 2020, in partnership with the University of Geneva, Pacifique is engaged in a 5-year expedition from east to west around the Arctic Ocean on board the sailing ship Mauritius with the aim of monitoring greenhouse gas concentrations and better assessing the impact of climate change in one of the most sensitive regions of the globe.

2015 – 2019

Ocean Mapping Expedition

500 years after Ferdinand de Magellan, the Pacifique undertook a 4-year round-the-world sailing trip aboard Fleur de Passion to observe, understand and map the state of the oceans in the light of the expedition led by the discoverer of the Pacifique.

The Changing Oceans

Under the patronage of UNESCO and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the Pacifique is leading its first long-distance expedition, The Changing Oceans Expedition, in the Mediterranean, Atlantic, North and Baltic Seas, the Red Sea and the Caribbean aboard the Fleur de Passion.
