A socio-educational program for teenagers who are socially or educationally disrupted, to enable them to break away from their usual living environment and to regain a sense of structure.
The ” Jeunes en mer ” program
For the past 20 years, Pacifique has been designing, hosting and supporting socio-educational and marine environment awareness projects aboard its two traditional sailing boats, Fleur de Passion and Mauritius. The aim is to give young people who are socially or educationally disrupted the opportunity to have an intense experience so that they can return to work or reintegrate into working life.
For the Pacifique team, the sea is a vital space for man. For those who sail it, it is also a privileged place to learn about solidarity and to grow in respect for others.
Aged between 14 and 18 years old, these young people take part in life on board and are supervised by educators-sailors.
