News from the beginning of the year
The winter break is over, minds and bodies rested, Pacifique is starting a new year with new projects on the horizon. We would like to extend our very best wishes to all of you who follow our maritime peregrinations.
Over the past 5 years, all our teams have worked together to make the Arctic expedition a success. In the background, the “Jeunes en mer” (Young people at sea) program, a social commitment. In 2024, some twenty young people spent a break on one of our sailboats.
Since last October, Fleur de Passion has been sailing down to the Cape Verde archipelago to cross the Atlantic once again. The departure is imminent, and the team of sailors, young people and educators are already provisioning the boat for the next three weeks of sailing to the West Indies.
As for Le Mauritius, the schooner is still enjoying the Breton air in Lorient before setting off again shortly for Portugal.
On the mainland, it’s time to make the most of the Arctic expedition. Gathering, analyzing and valorizing all the stories and scientific data collected “up there”. The recent publication of the 4th opus of Sillages is already a magnificent fragment of this polar expedition.
