OCEAN MAPPING EXPEDITION

Five centuries after the first circumnavigation, Fleur de Passion completed a four-year journey around the world (from Seville to Seville) to take the pulse of our blue planet.

This odyssey was not just a commemoration: the sailboat transformed into a unique logistical platform for major scientific programs, ranging from recording underwater noise pollution (20,000 Sounds Under the Seas) to monitoring greenhouse gases (Micromégas). A human and scientific adventure aimed at measuring, understanding, and mapping humanity’s impact on the oceans.
