In a setting as wild as it is majestic, Léa Dillard (crew member on board) and Laure Muller (scientific manager) took the zodiac to take samples of underwater sounds as part of the “EAR TO THE WILD” program conducted in partnership with Michel André, director of the Bioacoustic Application Laboratory (LAB) at the University of Catalonia.

The melting of ice and the opening of new sea passages are also a threat for some marine species that would see their acoustic environment disturbed.
