Among the mangroves
With their feet in the bed of the Bitang Bolong river, the scientific team led by Prof. Daniel McGinnis and PhD César Ordonez from the UNIGE, took several sediment cores between the mangroves.
This final day of sampling brings to a close the 2024 “Sailing for Mangroves” expedition conducted with UNIGE, the GREAT Institute and Swansea University. The samples will soon be brought back to Geneva for analysis.
