The integration with the Inuit community continues, and bonds are being forged between the locals and the wintering crew on board the sailboat. One of the inhabitants, Gerhard, proposed to Pietro and Thibaut to visit the community workshop of Greenland, where reindeer and musk ox horns are mainly worked to make tools or sculptures.

And if in Kalaallisut the word “seqinaaq” means “the return of the sun”, a word which characterizes the month of February, the temperatures remain nevertheless very low. It is one of the coldest periods of the year (with March), oscillating around -15°C on average, and the ice pack is inexorably approaching, surrounding little by little the greenlandic bay (see the ice bulletin).
