On February 27, the Fondation Pacifique gave a preview screening of the latest episode of the documentary series devoted to The Ocean Mapping Expedition, entitled Together on the Oceans. The screening took place in the auditoriumof the Uni-Dufour building at Geneva University, which was packed with an audience of some 300 people. This episode (number 6) features the Madagascar to Cape Town leg, from September to December 2018, and the experiences of four South African teenagers who won a competition organized by the NGO CapeNature on the occasion of the expedition’s arrival in South Africa. The preview was preceded by the screening of episode 5, The Winds of Change, which focuses on the launch of the eponymous programme for monitoring greenhouse gases on the ocean surface, and which was conducted in partnership with the Geneva University Faculty of Science.
