A unique outreach project!
In the pursuit of a more inclusive wintering with local communities, the Geneva-based naturalist artist Pierre Baumgart joined the sailing ship Mauritius recently.
This new program aims to link Swiss schools and the community of Greenland in order to address scientific, environmental and naturalist themes through drawing.
On the occasion of Pierre’s arrival, a “kaffemik” (Greenlandic tradition which consists in inviting everyone at home to celebrate a happy event) was organized on board.
A nice moment of meeting to start this wonderful project of exchange and drawing!
